Rose Show 2016 will be held on June 15th in conjuction with the regular meeting of the Welland Horticultural Society at Wesley United Chuch, 244 First Ave, Welland, ON

The Rose Show is open to amateur exhibitors from the Niagara area who take out the $10 annual membership. That can be done the day of the show. 

Club Richelieu was once again the scene for a wide range of fundraising activites and free family fun in support of the Kacey Lynn Fund administered by The Hope Centre.

The event included a kid’s carnival, face painting, stock cars, auction, inflatables, local vendors, food & music.

Named in memory of Kacey Lynn Rainville, a local child who died of cancer in June, 1988 - the legacy fund helps Niagara families address financial hardship incurred as a result of childhood illnesses.

We met up with Tracy this week while she was volunteering at the Welland Rose Festival Art Exhibition at the Seaway Mall this week . She currently has three paintings on display - “Jordan Harbour”, “Call to Labrador”, and “Lake Gibson Barn” - at the show running June 5th -10th.

A little rain didn't dampen the spirits of our amazing supporters at the 24th Annual Canada Goat Open Golf Tournament at the beautiful Cherry Hill Club on Tuesday, June 7th. The tournament was once again sold out and a great day was had by all.

Those that know me well, know that I have been involved in the Martial Arts for some time now -- 6 years in Karate, with a pinch of Aikido mixed in, a semester of Judo in college, and back to Karate and Kung Fu when I was a teenager.
