Doctors have an oath. So do the Boy Scouts. I had one when I was in 4-H. Even Dutch bankers must swear to uphold a 158-word honor code. We were pleased to find a terrific oath for architects and urbanists, one that should be made by every designer, builder, and even trades people who have a hand in making the places in which we live. We have just posted it to the web page.
One of my fav destinations Saturday morning is the Welland market. The farmers and venders are very friendly and always take the time to say hello and answer any questions.
While purchasing my favorite olive oil soap I asked Bev of Hawkwood farm if she knew if there was any rhubarb for sale at the market ? She recommended a few farmers and kindly let me store my bags with her for a few minutes as I continued my search. I just love the Welland Market. Next time I’m bringing one of those large rolling bags with a handle. lol
