Navigating the world of nutrition, exercise and healthful living can be difficult with the overwhelming amount of information being thrown at us.  This talk will touch on some popular current diets such as the ketogenic, intermittent fasting, paleo and gluten-free.  Danielle will also explore metabolism changes with age and how to navigate prevention of diet-related illnesses: keeping the heart, mind, and body healthy into the golden years!


From 10am-12pm at Niagara College, Welland, in room SA208 (SAC Boardroom).

* Tickets are $10 per person and parking is included in the price. 

* Danielle is a graduate from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Human Nutrition. She also holds a post-graduate certificate from Niagara College in Exercise Science, is a Certified Exercise Physiologist and maintains Level II certification through “Exercise is Medicine”.  

This event is hosted by Third Age Learning Niagara (TALN) is a not-for-profit organization, offering a unique opportunity for people over the age of 50 in Niagara to learn about topics that are interesting to them, in an engaging and exciting way.
